1. Loantaka Brook Reservation Trail. Very popular, this trail is often heavily trafficked but is ideal for all skill levels with access to 9.9 miles of trail, including an 8.2-mile loop. The trail runs along the Loantaka Brook and also passes a lake.
2. Jockey Hollow. Found in Morristown National Historic Park, this is an easy but historic 2.25-mile loop and the site of the Continental Army’s encampment during the winter of 1779-80. Trail visitors pass by reconstructed log cabins and Wick Farm along the route.
3. Lewis Morris Park. This park offers 22.1 miles of trails and is the second-largest county park in the park system with trails for all skill levels. Take a picnic and spend the whole day!
